I see you in the hallway,
That look I can't forget;
I see you in my dreams
And I wonder if I regret.
These feelings reoccur
And the whispers that I hear
Tell me that I've done you wrong
But there's nothing left right here.
I think of you and have to stop -
Tears form in my eyes.
I know that I can't do this;
It's not worth the cry.
I've cried over you too many times,
Whether my fault or yours.
But I don't want to think of you...
No torture anymore.
But I can't help but wonder
If I did the right thing for me
"Help yourself," you always said
But is it what you mean?
I don't know what's good for me
So I don't know how to feel
But I'll never forget what I felt,
That feeling... oh so real.
Please just leave me now to heal
The wounds, they are so deep.
My heart can't take much more of this
Please.... let me have a peaceful sleep.

wow. this is... amazing. so insightful and so powerful, yet it's simple. you didn't have to use big words to show complications... it's just the way you arranged them that showed how complicated it really is. :D

apparently its a better piece than i intended/anticipated.


i honestly wasn't even aiming for this to be some major piece that touches everyone....or anything of the sort. it was purely me putting my emotions into words. (maybe i was more emotional than i thought. haha)

yes i no wut u mean. i ment 2 tell u sumthin yestrday. jus cuz u r tellin ech other sumthin doesnt mean that u r doin nething but askin the other person 2 b sum1 that listens. u ppl think talkin 2 ech other is goin 2 efect the other person more than i beleve it really will. ur alrite kid.
